Dental Practice in Bedford recognized by the British Dental Association

 

The Kimbolton Dental Practice in Bedford has recently been recognized by the British Dental Association (BDA) as committed to good practice and has joined the Good Practice Scheme. This means the practice meets nationally recognized standards in order to provide the best possible care for its patients.

For the last 6 months, the team at the Kimbolton Dental Practice has been working hard to comply with the 100 requirements of the Scheme. “It has been quite a lot of hard work”, said Filly Bonito, the practice manager, “but everyone has found it worthwhile and we really do feel that we have improved our service to patients”.

A patient of the practice, Mr Mario De Priori, said that he had been going to the to the practice for a number of years and has always found the service provided was excellent. “It’s reassuring that the practice can show they provide a good service and that the BDA has recognized their efforts”, he said.

Tony Peluso, the practice owner said, “We involve all our patients in their treatment right from the start. We discuss the options available and give them all the information they need to decide which is best for them. They then receive a written outline of the agreed treatment, how many appointments they need and what it will cost. We make sure that there are no surprises”. Patient waiting times are kept to a minimum and every effort is made to make appointments that are convenient to the patient.

The Kimbolton Dental Practice is a three dentist practice in Kimbolton Road. Care is offered under NHS and private contract and the practice provides a preventative approach to dental care.
